Jamie Moon joined the firm in 2019 and practices criminal defense and civil litigation in state and federal courts. Before joining our firm, Jamie practiced at Hawley, Troxell, Ennis & Hawley, one of Idaho’s most respected law firms, where she focused on labor and employment law, workers’ compensation, and insurance defense. In making the switch to criminal defense, Jamie carries on a family legacy of criminal defense lawyers which includes her father who has practiced criminal defense in Oregon for over 35 years and her sister, a public defender in Oregon.
Jamie is a summa cum laude graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, where she graduated second in her class, served as editor-in-chief of Willamette Law Online, was an editor for the environmental law journal, was a member of OutLaw, an organization supporting LGBT rights, participated in moot court, and served as a criminal law research assistant. Jamie also served as a law clerk for the Marion County District Attorney’s office during law school. She spent a summer abroad in China studying Chinese law and legal procedures.
Jamie graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. She also played four years of varsity softball during college and was a team captain.
Jamie is licensed in Idaho and the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. She enjoys snowboarding, camping with her family, traveling to different countries, family cook-outs, running Spartan races and playing slow pitch softball.
