Avery was born and raised in Boise. She attended North Idaho College for 2 years where she received an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. Following her graduation from NIC, she attended Portland State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. Avery plans to continue her education with the goal of earning her J.D.
