Debra Groberg primarily practices criminal defense. She handles a varied felony and misdemeanor caseload and particularly enjoys working with juveniles. Debra is a native of Idaho and attended Boise State University before obtaining her law degree from the University of Idaho, College of Law. There she was a research assistant for Constitutional Law, teaching assistant for Lawyering Process, and the Chief Symposium Editor of the Idaho Law Review. Upon graduation she enjoyed a clerkship for the Honorable Judge David Gratton at the Idaho Court of Appeals before accepting a position as a Deputy Prosecutor for the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office. Debra is licensed in the Idaho state and federal courts.
In addition to her criminal defense work, Debra is the Chair Elect for the Idaho State Bar Young Lawyers Section, the American Bar Associations Young Lawyers Division District Representative for Idaho and Montana, a member of the Idaho Women Lawyers Board of Directors, a member of the Richard C. Fields American Inn of Court, and a regular volunteer at the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association bi-weekly Street Law Clinic. She was honored in 2018 as Idaho Business Review’s Up & Coming Lawyer.
In her free time Debra enjoys the many outdoor activities Idaho offers, as well as CrossFit, The Wire, and eating great local food.
